Jersey City
  • Ani Ramen opens tomorrow, 4/24
  • Satis Bistro announced they're hosting another wine dinner, A Taste of Burgundy, on Wednesday, May 24th - details will be forthcoming. 
  • Porta was written up on Food Republic for their more eco-friendly pizza ovens.
  • Sensory Kids is having an Autism Awareness Celebration and Fundraiser on Tuesday, April 25th at 7:30pm at Taphaus. The evening includes three courses and two drinks, catered by Whealth and Garden Steaks.
  • ModCup Coffee has introduced their own line of chocolate bars infused with cascara (the husks of coffee cherries), now available at all locations. 
  • The Van Vorst Park Association is hosting an 80's Prom Remix this Saturday, 4/29, beginning at 7pm. There will be $5 drinks, food from Brightside Tavern and Edward's Steakhouse, and more. 
  • Milk Sugar Love was featured by the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce.

Outside Jersey City
  • Tony Boloney's has gained a lot of notoriety over the past several days for their new 30 lb. taco pizza - made with a thick crust, cheese, and three tacos per slice, it's sold only on Tuesdays in Hoboken and on Thursdays in Atlantic City. 
  • After more than five years in development, Summit House in downtown Summit is finally open. It's currently only open for dinner, but they're planning to expand their offerings with lunch and brunch soon. 
  • Hackensack's White Manna was recently named as one of the best places for fries in the country by The Daily Meal.
