La Festa Italiana is back for its 115th year in Jersey City!
La Festa Italiana is an old-world Italian family-friendly festival that's become a neighborhood and community tradition. It begins today, Wednesday, 8/15 and runs through Sunday, 8/19, from 5pm-11pm every night at Holy Rosary Church on 6th Street between Monmouth and Brunswick.
The festival will have live music every night, games, prizes, the 50/50 raffle, and lots of food including the renowned zeppole and rice balls along with street fair favorites like sausage and peppers, wood-fired pizzas, arepas, and more. White Star will be onsite to provide a selection of beer and cocktails and the church will be serving up their famous (and somewhat dangerous) wine and peaches. There's also a hidden backyard spot serving up some specialty home-baked Italian goods that's worth exploring for.
