The owners have been focusing on their farm animal sanctuary and farm in the Catskills and as part of that, decided to move towards an all-vegetarian menu at 9th and Coles earlier this year and away from their more typical bar type food, concentrating instead on a menu using fresh produce from their farm and surrounding areas.
While they did have some success, the change never quite took off the way they hoped so they've decided to sell the bar to allow them to do more work on the farm. They will continue to be open and operate as usual until they have a buyer.

I think a vegetarian menu could have taken off....but, the problem it was just "vegetarian pub food," which felt like unhealthy appetizers with no real dinner option. Plus, service there is lousy.
