Choc-O-Pain is celebrating the ribbon-cutting of their newest location in Jersey City Heights at 330-332 Palisade Ave. This location will serve as both their primary baking facility and as a cafe and retail space, offering all the staples you love. The ribbon-cutting will take place at 2pm and refreshments will be provided.
The bakery is now open to the public from 7am-7pm on weekdays and 8am-7pm on weekends.

Cava, a Mediterranean-inspired fast-casual chain with locations throughout the East Coast and California is opening at 30 Montgomery near Exchange Place. With a focus on healthier items and a variety of options, Cava is something that area has long been looking for. The menu is highly customizable, offering greens, grains, and a pita as the base with your choice of spreads like harissa and tzatziki, proteins (vegetarian options available), and mix-ins.
They are kicking things off with a free
Community Lunch from 12pm-2pm on Wednesday with an option to donate to their Tri-State nonprofit partner, Grow to Learn, and will then open for regular hours from 11am-10pm on Thursday, 7/27.
