Community News: Bucket & Bay Gelato Class, Bread & Spoon at P&K, Mutzfest in Hoboken

  • Bread & Spoon has started selling their gluten-free peanut butter chocolate chip cookies at P&K Market. 
  • ME Casa has started offering $7.99 delivery and take-out lunch specials every Monday through Friday from 11am-3:30pm. 
  • Bucket & Bay is holding a Gelato-Making Masterclass on 1/25 focusing on speakeasy flavors like gelato infused with oak, smoke, and other liquors. Tickets are $95 each. 
  • Congratulations to Ani Ramen on being featured by USA Today as part of their spotlight on a ramen restaurant in every state. 
  • On 2/6, Iron Monkey is hosting mix and match Plant Nite, an event that will guide you through creating your own terrarium while you drink and socialize. 
  • Zeppelin Hall has launched their annual Baconfest featuring seventeen new dishes on top of the dishes from years past. It will run through Feb. 4th.  
  • The Jersey City Whiskey Fest is back. It will run from 7-10pm on Friday, 2/2 at the Harborside Atrium. Attendees will enjoy tastes of whiskey from all over the world along with music, food, and more.
  • Pizza Vita is hiring servers and kitchen help for their location opening soon on Palisade Ave. 
  • Join Frankie next Saturday, 1/27 for disco night. 

Outside Jersey City
  • Via NJ.com, The Daily Meal has named The Fanwood Grille in Fanwood, NJ as the best spot in the state for soup. 
  • BYOB Indian spot Matt & Meera in Hoboken has started offering a weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am-3pm for only $13.50
  • Hoboken's annual Mutzfest returns next Sunday from 2-6pm at the Elks Club at 1005 Washington Street. Tickets are $25 each and events include a cannoli-eating contest, a Frank Sinatra sing-a-long, and of course, fresh mozzarella. Proceeds from the event benefit the Hoboken Family Alliance.
