St. Patrick's Day This Weekend

St. Patrick's Day is everyone's favorite drinking holiday and the festivities are starting early in Jersey City.

The parade, which includes O'Leary's Pub owner & Irish firefighter Kevin Hennessey as one of the honored members, is this Sunday, March 13th at 12:30pm and will begin at Lincoln Park and proceed north to Journal Square.

If you're in the mood to celebrate, you can head to O'Leary's after the parade for Miller Lite giveaways and drink specials all day long.

Zeppelin Hall is serving up ten traditional Irish dishes from now until the 17th along with over a hundred beers and they'll have an Irish band on Saturday night at 10 pm.

O'Hara's in downtown Jersey City is also celebrating with a St. Patrick's Day party beginning at noon on Sunday with live music from Twisted Charm and $4 Guinness and Jameson.

And if you're not in the mood to drink but still want to celebrate, Cocoa Bakery is carrying frosted shamrock cookies from now through St. Patrick's Day.

Check back next week for more specials as we get closer to St. Patrick's Day!
