Five New Restaurants Coming Soon to the Heights

Five new dining destinations are set to hit Jersey City Heights in the near future, continuing the rapid restaurant expansion in the neighborhood. While none of them have announced their official opening date, they are all expected to open their doors within the next two months.

Pizza Vita - Pizza Vita, known for their quick-cooking pizza truck, is opening a brick and mortar space at 435 Palisade Avenue. They currently have locations in Summit and at Harborside Plaza in Jersey City. This location will focus on the pizza, but have a somewhat expanded menu similar to what they offer at their Summit location. 

Snapdragon Bringing Beignets to Jersey City

A new cafe from the owners of The Bike Hub is coming to Jersey City and it's bringing a taste of New Orleans with it.

Vogue Cafe Opening Soon

 A new French spot, Vogue Café, is opening soon in Jersey City.

Mathews Announces Opening Date

Over the weekend, the barriers around Mathews Food & Drink, 351 Grove Street, were taken down signaling that they're getting closer to opening.

Würstbar Opens Friday

In addition to Cellar 335 opening earlier this week, Würstbar, which moved into the former Sushi Tango space, will be opening to the public on Friday, 8/19 at 4pm.

Pet Shop Opening Soon

Pet Shop, 193 Newark Ave, will be celebrating their soft open beginning this Thursday, 7/28 through Saturday 7/30.

New Restaurant: The Old Spot

A new Chinese Hot Pot restaurant is coming to downtown Jersey City. Located at 523 Jersey Avenue which was formerly H20 Aquarium, the new spot will be called The Old Spot.
