- South House opened this past Friday for drinks and a limited menu. They plan to switch to the full menu and open up the roof and basement within the next few weeks. They'll be closed tomorrow, but reopen on Tuesday.
- This Thursday, Satis Bistro is hosting a Riesling tasting for $45/person. Call for reservations.
- Congratulations to Jersey City Veggie Burger for celebrating three years in business and to Chopping Block Food Truck on their one year anniversary, both this weekend!
- This week's Tuesday BBQ menu at Carrino Provisions is Mediterranean themed with slow roasted lamb shoulder, kafta & veggie kebabs, falafel, hummus, and more. $30 for all you can eat and drink.

Construction Updates #2 (Downtown)
Jersey City just keeps on building! Since there's been some pretty significant progress on a number of the restaurants opening around downtown and several announcements of new places, I figured it was a good time to do a run-down of what's going on.
Ahri's Kitchen, the family-run Korean spot opening at 227 7th St. (off Erie), has been hard at work for the past several months and it looks like they're at the point of finishing touches and final logistics. They've had a couple of preview diners in and the latest rumors are that they expect to be open within the next two weeks.
Raval, Satis Bistro's tapas restaurant, is opening at 136 Newark Ave. They still appear to be doing some minor construction work, but the majority of the inside appears done and they're predicting a late spring opening (hopefully around May).

- Congratulations to Sam a.m. on celebrating one year in business! Best wishes are also in order for Sam and Amanda who got married this weekend.
- Rustique Pizza is celebrating their third anniversary this Tuesday and they'll be offering free plain slices from 12pm-5pm.
- Congratulations to Do You Tea, a frequent visitor at the 6th Borough Market, who signed a lease for a space in Jersey City Heights. They will be located at Summit Ave and Zabriskie along with Bloomsbury Square.
- Koro Koro got a nice mention in the Village Voice.
