Square 1 is extending their hours to include dinner service on select days beginning next week.

Square 1, located at 283 St. Paul's Ave near Journal Square, opened as a casual breakfast and lunch spot in late 2016 and quickly earned a well-deserved reputation for serving creative and delicious dishes for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike. Their menu includes a pressed charred carrot sandwich, arepas, a chorizo manchego sandwich, and daily soups amongst its offerings along with baked goods like their excellent house-made chocolate chip cookies.
Owned and operated by long-term residents of the Heights, they had expressed their interest in extending their hours to offer dinner service early on, but weren't able to launch the expansion as quickly as they hoped. However, it seems like they're now ready to begin and they recently
announced that Square 1 will be open until 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays beginning next week.
Stop by in the evenings to take advantage of their outdoor space in the fall weather and enjoy some seasonal soups, baked goods, and more - it's all sure to be delicious.
