Community News: Bang Cookies Now Open, Italian Delis to try in Hudson County, and More

Jersey City
  • Bang Cookies has finished their renovations and opened this weekend at 1183 Summit Ave. They will be open from 11pm-11am. 
  • Jersey City is home to five of the 20 best Italian delis in Hudson County, according to this list put together by The Jersey Journal/Yelp: Milano's, Monmouth St. Deli, Salumeria Ercolano, Carmine's, and of course, Andrea Salumeria, which was named as the best in New Jersey last year.
  • Hudson Hall was named one of the 13 Hottest NJ Restaurants to try this fall by NJ.com
  • Piggyback Bar has started offering take-out and will soon be available on  Seamless and GrubHub. 
  • Join Rising Tide Capital and Midnight Market for a special celebration event at Harborside this Thursday, 11/2. There are tickets available for both the food festival portion of the evening only as well as the food festival and reception. 
  • Talde has launched their new brunch menu. Additions include a new burger, corn pancakes, Filipino pork fried rice, and more. 
  • As a reminder, Froth on Franklin opened earlier this week in the Heights. 
Outside Jersey City
  • Panchos Taqueria in Atlantic City has been named New Jersey's Best Mexican Restaurant by The Daily Meal. In the past, Panchos has won acclaim from David Chang of Momofuku, Vice Munchies, and New Jersey's own Pete Genovese.
  • Acai Ya Later! has started offering fresh cold-pressed juices at their Hoboken location.
