Popular burger chain Diesel & Duke officially opened the doors to their Jersey City location on Tuesday.
The restaurant, located at 389 Monmouth Street, was formerly a tax office and was under construction for over a year before opening as the flagship Diesel & Duke. With two other locations in New Brunswick and Montclair, the Jersey City location is the largest, but will remain true to its roots with handcut fries, smash-style burgers starting at $7.49, and a wide range of toppings.

Diesel & Duke is known for their unique creations like their sriracha, peanut butter, and bacon burger and their Ranger fries made with barbecue sauce, cheese sauce, and bacon bits. They do also have a vegetarian option with their chickpea and kale falafel patty and all the burgers are customizable with toppings like a fried egg, caramelized onions, aged cheddar, and more.
Right now, Diesel & Duke is open from 4pm-10pm daily with specials and online ordering/delivery coming soon.
