Events
Honey Bakery Block Party
If you've been missing Honey Bakery since they closed, Friday night is your chance to get a final taste! Join them for one of the special block parties on Friday, beginning at 8pm. There will be music, fun, and a ton of delicious eats.
Arts on the Hudson Fest
On Saturday, head to Hamilton Park from 12-6pm for Arts on the Hudson Fest where there will be a full day of live music, yoga, live painting, crafts, and vendors. Venti food truck will also be there offering up their excellent subs, so if you're not able to get to them during the week, this is a good opportunity to give them a try.
Marketplace JC
It's Women in Business Day for Marketplace JC, where they'll be featuring women-owned businesses and vendors. They'll have vintage and hand-crafted goods, fashion, beauty products live jazz, food from vendors like Eemas Cuisine and more. Located at 136 Magnolia Ave, the market runs from 12pm-5pm
Bad & Bourgie BBQ at Mathews
If you're not grilling on Labor Day, head over to Mathews where they'll have their Bad & Bourgie BBQ happening all day beginning at 11am. The menu features special dishes like Habanero Peach BBQ ribs, Wagyu beef hot dogs, lobster rock shrimp rolls, and more.
Special Hours
- On Labor Day, Lackawanna at Bay Street will be open from 7am-1pm. Lackawanna on Grove will be open from 7am-7pm.
- Pampita Meat Shop is open every day throughout the weekend including Monday for all your bbq needs. They recommend placing any special orders ahead since they're anticipating high volumes.
- Beginning this weekend, Darke Pines Butcher Shop will now be open on Sundays from 12pm-5pm. It's the perfect weekend to stop in if you haven't already and get some of their creative and delicious house-made sausages to enjoy.
- Hamilton Pork and Hamilton Inn are both serving brunch on Monday from 11am-4pm.
- The Kitchen Step will be open for Labor Day Brunch from 10am-4pm.
- Sam a.m. is open for Labor Day and will be serving up your brunch favorites along with a couple of specials.
- Departed Soles is open from 12-7pm on Labor Day for some rare Monday day-drinking.
- The Cliff is open for Labor Day brunch.
- Choc O Pain is open until 5pm at their downtown location and until 4pm at their Heights location .
Closed
- The Arlington Park Farmer's Market is canceled this weekend for the holiday, but will be back in action next Saturday, 9/8.
- Latham House will be closed beginning Saturday, 9/1 through next Wedneday, 9/5 for summer vacation.
- Broa is closed through Monday, 9/3
- Corgi Spirits is closed for the weekend and all through next week, reopening on Friday, 9/7
- Corto is closed all through the weekend for Labor Day and will reopen for dinner on Tuesday, 9/4.
- Pinwheel Garden is closed beginning Friday, 8/31 and will reopen on Tuesday, 9/11.
- Ozu Foods will be closed beginning Labor Day through Wednesday, reopening Thursday, 9/6/
- Dark Side of the Moo is closed on Labor Day.
- 9 Bar Cafe is closed at both locations on Labor Day.
- Firehouse Blazing Pizza is closed Sunday and Monday, but will reopen on Tuesday, 9/4
- Koro Koro is closed for Labor Day.
- Low Fidelity is closed on Monday.
- Martha's is closed for Labor Day.
- South House will be closed on Monday and Tuesday and will reopen on Wednesday, 9/5.
- Congress Station is closed for Labor Day.
