Happy Weekend Jersey City! This weekend has food festivals and cultural pride galore. Here's what's going on:

Having started on Wednesday, La Festa Italiana really kicks into high gear for the weekend,  beginning tonight from 5-11pm.

"Grillin & Chillin" BBQ at Zeppelin Hall, 88 Liberty View Drive
Zeppelin Hall is hosting a weekend full of barbecue with two specialty grill menus, a Brazilian Rodizio themed-menu and a Smoke Haus BBQ menu representing different regions of the US. The Rodizio menu contains dishes like Picanha made with tri-tip, chimichurri, yucca fries and more while the Smoke Haus menu has entrees like Austin slow-cooked brisket and St. Louis-style pork ribs. Ideal for meat lovers, this will run Friday through Sunday this weekend and next weekend.

Paella Fever at Surf City, 11 Marin Blvd
Surf City has just launched a brand new paella menu featuring ten different limited edition paellas that include vegetarian options, a special calamari version, a buffalo chicken paella, and even a dessert paella made with cinnamon, milk, and marshmallow. The menu will be available from now through August 26th.

Marketplace JC, 136 Magnolia Ave
Marketplace JC is back this Saturday from 12-5pm with live music courtesy of Riverview Jazz, specialty vendors selling hand-crafted and vintage goods, and great food from places like From Phil, With Love, a Southern-inspired bakery, Sweet Kiss Lemonade, Scoops in Cahoots ice cream, and more.

Jersey City Pride Bar Crawl, 100 York Street
In celebration of Jersey City Pride, join Hudson Pride Center for their Bar Crawl all around downtown Jersey City. The crawl starts at The Royal, 100 York at 6pm and they're aiming to be at each new location an hour later, finishing up at Pint. You can register at any stop and there will be drink specials and raffles at every bar.

Puerto Rican Heritage Parade and Festival, Columbus Drive
One of the biggest heritage and culture events of the year, the Puerto Rican Parade and Festival spans both Saturday and Sunday and will run from noon to 9pm. The parade itself is on Sunday and will start at Lincoln Park before progressing all the way through the city to City Hall. The festival features live music, performances, food, vendors and more, and will be on Columbus Drive between Merseles and Brunswick behind James J. Ferris High School.
