Jersey City is the Place To Be!
The Jersey City restaurant scene has once again landed us on the map! Zagat recently put out a list of 7 great reasons to visit Jersey City. Although I am sort of surprised Talde made the list since it's not actually built yet, I'll agree it's definitely something to look forward to.
As most of us know, we do have a lot of great food and great restaurants in Jersey City and I'm glad so many of them are getting the attention they deserve.

- Congratulations to Razza, Madame Claude's Cafe, and Liberty House Restaurant for being named in CBS New York's "Best Romantic Restaurants in Hoboken and Jersey City"!
- This weekend, Battello officially started offering brunch on the weekends! While there is no official menu up yet on the site, there is a waffle you can start ogling.
- If you want to know more about Battello before checking it out, Ryan DePersio, executive chef, was recently featured in NJ.com's dining section.
- According to The Jersey City Life, Eric Girerd of L'Atelier du Chocolat is planning to open a shop in Jersey City near the Grove Pointe Apartment Complex. This would be the second location for the shop which focuses on high-end truffles and filled chocolates.

- Congratulations to Sam a.m., Beechwood Cafe, Choc-o-Pain, Marco & Pepe, and La Conguita for their mentions in this month's NJ Monthly Magazine in an article about the best breakfasts in North Jersey! And congratulations to all of us who live here because we get to enjoy all these delicious places!
- Union Republic has installed a meat locker in their front counter with various cuts of meat for purchase! All meat is sourced from local NJ butcher Mezbah Meat Market.
- Congratulations also to Thirty Acres for their write-up on Immaculate Infatuation!Hint: it was a hit!
- Speaking of Thirty Acres, they just announced they will start having an online reservation system for all sized parties up to 8 people beginning Monday, Feb 3rd. Walk-in tables will still be available.
