• The JC West Side Chili Cook-Off has been announced! It will be held on Sunday, 10/8 beginning at 12pm. If you're interested in competing, read the rules here. 
• Congratulations to Bambino Chef on being featured on News 12 New Jersey to share some healthy, simple, fun lunch box ideas. 
• Join Chris Leo of PS Wine Bar and Lourdes of the Vine for an Old World vs New World Wine Class on Tuesday 9/26 at 7pm. Tickets are $45/person.

• Join WomenRising at Lutze Biergarten from 4-10pm for their first Sip to Support event. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to WomenRising,a  community-based organization focused on empowering and helping women in Hudson County through a variety of services ranging from counseling to shelters to job placement. 

Whealth Opening Soon in Journal Square

After two and a half years of planning and construction, Whealth is getting ready to open their cafe at Journal Squared, 615 Pavonia Ave, to the public this Friday.

• Congratulations to Rustique Pizza on celebrating 6 years in business, to Sam a.m. for celebrating 4, and Van Hook Cheese on celebrating their one year anniversary.
• 9th & Coles has officially rebranded and reopened as Ed & Mary's, named after the owners. It will continue to operate as a neighborhood pub and community-oriented space with comfort food, their variety of American and craft beers, and traditional cocktails. 
• Hudson County Community College is holding a series of family-friendly culinary classes from September through December. Right now, the classes are $29/person per class.
