Jersey & Co. Gelato Now Open

Just in time for summer, new gelato shop, Jersey & Co. Gelato, has recently opened at 55 Mallory Ave.

Crema is Now Open - and it's Great

New cafe Crema has opened at 695 Bergen Ave in McGinley Square. Shortly after Harry's Coffee abruptly closed last year, Crema took over the space, started renovations, and as of a few weeks ago, have opened their doors to the public.

Ample Hills to Open this Friday, 11/3

Brooklyn-based ice cream maker Ample Hills Creamery has announced they will be opening their new Jersey City location this Friday, 11/3 and the first 100 guests will receive a free scoop of ice cream.

Construction Update: Ani Ramen Announces Opening, 9 Bar Cafe, Ample Hills Creamery

First on the list, one of the most anticipated openings of the year: Ani Ramen House at 218 Newark Avenue.

A Little Gelato Now Open

A new gelato shop, A Little Gelato, opened this weekend at 280 Central Ave. Replacing Amrit Taste of India restaurant, the shop sits next door to popular pizza place Renato's and is owned and operated by Jersey City Heights residents Kenneth and Christine.

• Torico Ice Cream is going to be featured on The Food Network's new series, Great American Food Finds. It will premiere Monday, August 3rd at 9:30pm
• Carrino Provisions has started a Monday night prix-fixe of two courses plus cannoli for $25 or $30 with a glass of wine and this week's Tuesday BBQ theme will be Thai Street Food.
• You can now order Milk Sugar Love for delivery through Fastboy Delivery! They even have special coolers and ice to prevent melting.
• Milk Sugar Love has also started offering the August sundae, a collaboration with Third & Vine. Made with blue cheese ice cream, blueberry chutney, bourbon caramel, and bacon candy, the sundae will be available every weekend through August. 
• Noches de Colombia will be moving into Jersey City Heights on Central Ave.

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of everything Milk Sugar Love. If you asked me to, I can rattle off every flavor I've ever had (and it's not a short list). So I'm extremely excited to be able to help introduce a special new ice cream creation!

Today is the launch of Milk Sugar Love's July Sundae, the Doce De Avo, part of the Summer of Sundaes created with and inspired by restaurants around town.

You Can Now Join Milk Sugar Love's Pint Club

Yesterday, Milk Sugar Love announced they will be offering membership to their new Pint Club, celebrating fall and winter.

Cocoa Bakery - Now With Ice Cream Sandwiches

Last week, Cocoa Bakery began selling a special new item: an ice cream sandwich.

Their first flavor combination was raspberry ice cream with gingersnap cookies but since then, they've also served up chocolate walnut cookies with vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate cookies with mint chocolate chip ice cream, and raspberry with peanut butter milk chocolate chip cookies. 

Weekend Events!

Today marks the beginning of Chili Mania at Zeppelin Hall! From today, 8/1 through Sunday, 8/10, Zeppelin Hall will be serving thirteen different kinds of chili including a vegetarian option and a tasting platter.

Also in new and exciting menus, join Park & Sixth Gastropub this weekend as they introduce their new brunch menu.

Milk Sugar Love's Grand Opening

Congratulations to Milk Sugar Love on celebrating their Grand Opening!

The store is celebrating its grand opening today, beginning at 3pm and running until 7pm with free mini-cones and lots of cold brew from Stumptown. 

Milk Sugar Love has been serving the Jersey City community for over a year (lucky us!) and it boggles my mind that there might still be people out there who haven't tried it. Please don't wait any longer.
