Today, join Creative Grove at Grove Plaza for some art, music, and food stands. They'll be going from 3-9pm so get outside and enjoy!
On Saturday, the Van Vorst Park Farmers' Market runs from 8am-3pm. You can fulfill all your weekend produce needs or grab some breakfast on the go before heading to the Ogden's End Community Garden Fundraiser from 3:00-6:00pm. There will be homecooked barbecue, adult and non-adult beverages and so much more! The suggested donation is $20 which will be used to replenish necessary gardening tools and supplies. For more information, check: https://www.facebook.com/OgdensEndCommunityGarden
On Sunday, enjoy the entire day outdoors with two different Farmers' Markets and the return of the 6th Borough Market!
The first ever Lincoln Park Farmers' Market debuts at 10 am and promises to be a great addition to the markets in Jersey City! They will be having their ribbon cutting ceremony at 11am and the market will continue until 3pm
The Riverview Farmers' Market will also be taking place this Sunday from 9am-2pm and this week's market will feature a bee hive demonstration with a glass enclosed observation hive from Oh Honey and new vendor Paolo's Kitchen who will be offering both regular and gluten-free items.
The 6th Borough Market will be returning to their new home at the lot behind City Hall near Montgomery and Marin. I've written about how much there is to do and eat at the 6th Borough Market before and this month's market looks like we can expect the same with vendors like Mordi's, Goods and Greens, Cholita Dessert Bar, and Jersey City Veggie Burger who will be bringing seasonal special Golden Beet Burgers!
Enjoy your weekend Jersey City!
