Food Finder and Taster

Welcome to Jersey City Eats, a food blog dedicated to exploring and sharing all the great and diverse dining to be found around Jersey City.

I've lived in Jersey City since 2007 and started the blog in 2013 because I loved the variety and diversity of food available in town, but found that there wasn't much information available, so I decided I would start. If you love something, why not share it?

    1. Thank you so much! I'm glad it's been helpful. As for where to watch games - most of the bars around here do end up playing something, but we don't really have that many dedicated sports bars. Your best bets would be The Citizen, HopsScotch, Brightside Tavern (pretty sure they have the biggest screens), O'Hara's, PJ Ryan's (original location, not the one in Journal Square) and White Star. I hope that helps!

  6. East Village Asian Bistro has a sign in the window stating "Restaurant for Sale". What's up with that? Did it ever open?

  7. What's going on at 128 Newark Ave? It looks like the former owner of Burger Eatery is opening something.
