On Saturday, Zeppelin Hall is holding a Masskrugstemmen contest beginnging at 11pm. What is a Masskrugstemmen contest, you ask? Well, according to Zeppelin Hall, Masskrugstemmen literally means “beer-stein holding” and it has been a fixture in German Beer Gardens for generations. The rules are simple - Contestants must hold a 1-liter stein filled to the top with beer at arm’s length for as long as possible.

The winner of the competition wins a free night in New York City and will compete in the National Championship at the Steuben Day Fest in Central Park on Saturday, September 20th where the first prize is an all expense paid trip to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.
This Saturday also marks the last day Andrea Salumeria is open before taking their summer vacation. They will reopen on August 11th, so make sure you get all your delicious Italian sandwich needs taken care of now.

Tea NJ will also begin a trial run of their new delivery service beginning at 12pm-9pm on Saturday. They are willing to delivery within a 1.5 mile radius. Here are the menus.

The Farmers' Market at Lincoln Park and the Riverview Fisk Farmers' Market will both be happening on Sundayswe get and the El Chilango Taco Truck be joining the Riverview market for the first time! So get some tacos,  your weekend produce, and enjoy some time outside in the parks.
