JC Fish Stand to Open

For all those in Jersey City who have lamented the lack of a good fishmonger downtown (which seems to be just about everyone), your wishes have finally come true.

This Wednesday, join Jersey City Fish Stand as they celebrate their Grand Opening at 508 Jersey Avenue between Columbus and Wayne. They'll have their ribbon cutting at 2pm and then will keep celebrating until 7pm with music, snacks, raffles, and of course, fresh seafood for sale. 

Jersey City Fish Stand, who you might recognize from their stands at the Grove St. Farmer's Market and at Van Vorst Park Farmer's Market, is known for their wild-caught or organically raised fish and seafood. They offer a wide selection of fresh fish daily including everything from crab meat to snapper. I've personally enjoyed oysters, scallops, and tuna from Jersey City Fish Stand and have found everything to be incredibly fresh and delicious.

They're also currently offering 10% off any holiday pre-orders and have a special menu all set-up so stop by Wednesday to see the store and get to know your new source for fresh, high quality fish.
