A Jersey City Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is almost here and Jersey City has a lot of options to help you keep it local and make it easy. Here are some ideas on where to get all your essential (and non-essential but delicious) Thanksgiving supplies, what to do, and where to go if you're not cooking.

The Turkey
Check in with Ron of Bone-In for sources of local turkey.

Stony Hill was offering local cage-free turkeys from Ashley Farms. They may still be accepting pre-orders, but time is definitely running short. Try calling (908) 879-2696 to place your request.

Thankgiving in Jersey City

blogs.sacurrent.com

The season has started and Thanksgiving is upon us! I hope everyone's prepared with gravy recipes and bottles of wine in hand, but if you've decided to skip it this year or need  a back-up plan in case your deep-fried turkey goes up in flames, here are some restaurants that will be open for Thanksgiving:

Casa Dante - they will be serving a prix fixe menu for $49/person
Vu Restaurant - located in the Hyatt at Exchange Place, Vu has beautiful views to be thankful for along with your meal.
