Jersey City is the Place To Be!

The Jersey City restaurant scene has once again landed us on the map! Zagat recently put out a list of 7 great reasons to visit Jersey City. Although I am sort of surprised Talde made the list since it's not actually built yet, I'll agree it's definitely something to look forward to.

As most of us know, we do have a lot of great food and great restaurants in Jersey City and I'm glad so many of them are getting the attention they deserve.

For more food-related reasons Jersey City is worth spot-lighting (including upcoming events), read on:

For the rest of this week, you can enjoy Zeppelin Hall's Sausage Fest! Running until the 20th, there are some delicious and unique offerings to be had.

I've enjoyed the Currywurst Munich Style in the past and it's excellent - juicy and nicely spiced with a slight sweetness balancing out the curry in the sauce so I feel pretty confident that Zeppelin Hall knows how to handle their sausage. Heh. They were nice enough to send me some pictures of some of the specials and based off that, I have to say: go for the Scottish Duck Egg. It looks so good.

Besides Sausage Fest, today also marks the return of the Hamilton Park Farmers Market! Help bring the feeling of spring back into your life with some fresh fruit and vegetables and sweet treats from Milk Sugar Love and Cocoa Bakery as well as countless other vendors.

Tomorrow, Thursday 4/17, Sam a.m. is holding another Supper Club and this week's theme is "A night on the Lamb" with Spring, Passover, and Easter inspired courses. Email samamcafe@gmail.com for reservations.

On April 23rd, Amelia's Bistro is holding their Weyerbacher tasting dinner! They haven't put out a menu yet, but you can be sure there will be plenty of beer to enjoy.Call to reserve your tickets now.

Don't worry, there are still plenty more events coming up and even more reasons to love Jersey City.
