This Weekend is ALL About Jersey City

Trying to plan your weekend? I hope you're not planning on being anywhere other than Jersey City because there are two major events celebrating creativity, unique finds, and shopping local happening this weekend and you do not want to miss them.

Besides the extraordinary array of product and design vendors being showcased, both events also have amazing food line-ups to keep you satiated as you shop. And let's be honest, for most of us me, that's really the major draw here. Knowing there's delicious food to be had and really cool things to look at? There's no turning back now.

First up, on Saturday 4/26, The Jersey City Project will be bringing Project: EARTH to City Hall from 11am - 6pm and this one promises to be even bigger and better than December's Project: Market (which was already pretty great).

Check their facebook for a better idea of all the vendors as we get closer to the date, but the array of different food vendors - trucks, restaurants, and stands, oh my! - is great. Barcade will be providing libations to everyone 21+ while new spots like Battello and Mordi's Schnitzel Truck make themselves available to the masses. More great truck fare from Incrediballs and Pizza Vita as well as classic market favorites Jersey City Veggie Burgers, Milk Sugar Love, Cocoa Bakery and ModCup will be there. Razza is opening early with their full menu to accommodate market-goers. And believe me, this is just scratching the surface of all the deliciousness that will be there.

On Sunday, continue the gluttony at the Season Opening of the 6th Borough Market! Located at 1 McWilliams Place and running from 11am-5pm, this family-friendly outdoors market brings together a wide collection of creativity and craftiness as well as more taste-bud tempting options. Milk Sugar Love and Jersey City Veggie Burgers will be serving up even more sweet and savory delights to everyone. Choc-O-Pain will be there as well as Cholita Dessert Bar (formerly known as All Kinds of Whoopie) with some new spring-inspired desserts. Again, I'm just scratching the surface of what's going to be on offer here, so stop by and check it out!

Oh man, you guys.....I think I need to start planning my eating strategy now.
