Weekend Events


Tonight marks the return of JC Fridays and this time, Jersey City Ties and Thirsty Quaker are joining forces to throw an End of Summer Lot Party with live music, comedy, beer, and food!

 
 
The Brunswick Street Block Party will be running from 6-11pm on Brunswick between 1st & 3rd Streets. Live music, the  Another Man's Treasure showroom, and cold brew cocktails from Mod Cup!
 
The Jersey Statuary will also be hosting a night of art & music with live performances and a gallery showing of JeanKarlos Kruz's Art. Hoboken's Black Rail will be providing samples of the coffee during the morning exhibition hours. 
 

There will be lots of other great JC Fridays events so make sure to get out there and explore! There will be free shuttles running from Newark & Monmouth to Jersey City Heights!

On Saturday morning, head to Van Vorst Park to try out new juice pop-up Fresh Nectar who will be serving fresh-squeezed, organic juices and vegan snacks. Here's the menu.

This weekend is also the Jersey City Greek Festival, running Sept. 6th and 7th at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church at 661 Montgomery. Throughout the weekend, there will be live music, DJ's, authentic Greek dancing, drinks, and lots of homemade Greek food!

The Farmers' Market at Lincoln Park and the Riverview Farmers' Market will also be running on Sunday. At the Riverview Market, there will be two live musical performances beginning at noon.
