Weekend Events

There's a lot going on this weekend Jersey City! Here's the line-up:

The weekend kicks off with the start of Oktoberfest at Zeppelin Hall.

On Saturday, there's a long list of options:
Pacific Flea is having one of their Big Flea events this Saturday with live music, art, and food by Nu Bar.

On Saturday, Jersey City Theater Center presents Artoberfest featuring art, music, dance, and theater as well as The Jersey City Brew Club's 4th Annual Home Brew Competition. The event, located at Merseles Studio - 339 Newark Ave, will run from 12:00pm-8:00pm and the Home Brew Competition will begin at 3:00pm and end at 6:00pm. Premium beer and Italian food by Delenio's will be on sale all day.

 



If you're by Exchange Place, The Irish Festival will run from 11am-10pm with live bands, Irish step-dancing, and various food trucks including Park Tavern, Johnny's BBQ, El Chilango Taqueria, Kupcake Kouture, Golden Grille, and Mom's Food.

 

The Hamilton Park BBQ Festival will be going from noon - 8pm with beer provided by NJ Beer Co. and the Hamilton Inn and lots of BBQ.

 

If you're in the mood for something a little lighter, Jivamukti Yoga is holding their monthy vegan dinner Saturday night from 6pm-8pm. Tickets are $15 and reservations are required. 

 

On Sunday, once you've recovered from all the eating and drinking on Saturday, check out the Farmers' Markets at Riverview Fisk Park and Lincoln Park.
