Weekend Events

This weekend, there's plenty to check out in Jersey City and a lot of it involves drinking.

Friday night, there's a fundraiser for the Jersey City Firefighters Pipes and Drums Band at HopsScotch.

Tonight is the second night at new beer garden Taphaus, and they'll be open until 10 pm and continuing with 30% off. They will also be open until 10pm on Saturday.


Also on Friday night is the opening reception of the 24th Annual Jersey City Studio Arts Tour in the heights and Mod Cup will be serving up coffee cocktails all evening. Stop by, get a buzz, check out some art!

On Saturday, Madame Claude Wine is having a wine tasting from 5pm-7pm.

Union RepublicSatis Bistro and Thirty Acres have updated their menus so it's a great time to check them out.

Oktoberfest continues at Zeppelin Hall all weekend with lots of food and drink specials including authentic oktoberfest dishes.

Livestock JC will be back in the kitchen at LITM on Sunday for their second week of chef residency.

Beginning this Sunday, NuBar will open at 1pm for Sunday football and they'll be offering $16 buckets of corona and 8 buffalo wings.

There are farmers' markets all over the city both Saturday and Sunday, so stop by and stock up for the week.
