Jersey City was recently named one of the Top 10 Greenest Cities in America and in an effort to keep earning that title, Jersey City has some big plans to help all of us celebrate Earth Day.
On Sunday, April 26th, the city is hosting an Earth Day Celebration with tons of family-friendly and earth-friendly activities, giveaways, learning stations and workshops, and food from some Jersey City favorites.
Jersey City Veggie Burgers will be there with special shiitake ginger veggie burgers, Iced Tea Fusion will have organic teas and fresh lemondade, complete with fruit mix-ins of your choice, and Milk Sugar Love will be offering mini ice cream sandwiches, just to name a few.
That's not all that's happening around Jersey City! There are plenty of other celebrations all weekend long including the Meet the Goats/Mother Earth Festival at the Harsimus Cemetery with tons of live music, vendors, and more food (and I repeat: GOATS).
