Good news, Jersey City!
Ahri's Kitchen, the much-anticipated Korean restaurant coming to Hamilton Park, is officially opening to the public today. After starting work last fall. launching a successful kickstarter, and doing a few test-runs over the past few weeks, the family-run restaurant has finished the permit process and gotten the official OK from the city to begin.
They offered up some sneak peeks of what they'll be cooking at last year's Project: Holiday Market in December and I happily enjoyed the bulgogi and noodles they were serving. We have almost no other Korean food in town and what they were making was absolutely delicious. If that was anything to go by, Ahri's Kitchen is going to be a great addition to Jersey City.
Located on at 227 7th Street, on the corner of Erie, they'll be open every day from 11am-3pm and 5pm-10pm and are both meat-eater and veg-friendly. Service is dine in and take out only for right now, but they are planning on adding delivery services beginning next week (!) through Fast Boy Delivery.
Congratulations to Ahri's Kitchen!
Looks great! I live on 5th. Definitely will try it soon. Do you know if it's BYOB?
ReplyDeleteYes, BYOB! They have also said they'll hold onto your bottle(s) for you if you'd like, but I don't know how advisable that is unless you're planning on returning immediately.
