Each year, one of the things I most enjoy is getting to see so many of the vendors and small businesses throughout Jersey City all together. They range in everything from jewelry to art to home goods and it's a great opportunity to check out vendors from a different area or find a new favorite you didn't know existed while enjoying some good eats and tasty beverages.
It's also a great opportunity to check out some of the new restaurants coming to Jersey City. Last year, we got a preview of South House and Monty's amongst others, and this year, we can look forward to seeing more of Archer Bar prior to their opening and Monty's, once again. There will also be a huge amount of delicious food to enjoy from more familiar vendors, so come hungry!
The past year or so has been a time of huge growth in Jersey City, specifically within the culinary and food sectors so if you haven't checked some of the new places, the fair will help you do so in one fell swoop with places like these:
9 Bar Cafe
Talde/Carrino Provisions
Just BeClaws
South House (probably with adult beverages!)
Pasta Dal Cuore
Raval
(pan con tomate from Raval)
Special visitor Cinnamon Snail!!!! This is probably one of the most exciting additions - be prepared for long lines. VEGAN
Nuchas Empanadas
Red Hook Lobster
Gorilla Cheese
The Langos Truck (specialty Hungarian bread topped with various meats, cheeses, sauces, etc.)
The Taco Truck
Several of your favorite market vendors will also be there:
Jersey City Wingery
Busy Bee Organics
Bone-In
Grandma Downtown
(Buffalo wings from Jersey City Wingery)
You can also fuel-up with familiar name ModCup, enjoy some veggie options with JC Veggie Burgers, drink with Hamilton Inn and Zeppelin Hall, enjoy some truly excellent empanadas from O'Lala Empanadas (any of the roast pork ones are a good bet), cool down with some Milk Sugar Love, and visit some Jersey City favorites like LITM, Saigon Cafe, Helen's Pizza, and so, so much more.

I'll be tweeting/instagramming photos throughout the day (slowly and as non-spammy as I can) so make sure to follow along. Besides just the food, there are a ton of other great vendors and businesses to check out and with a whole kid's section, it's pretty family-friendly.
Enjoy All About Downtown, Jersey City!
