Community News:Talde celebrates Filipino Restaurant Week, Koro Koro Back Open & More

  • Head to Talde any time through next Monday, 5/28 for their Filipino Restaurant Week with chicken adobo tacos, pork bbq, and mango pie for $35/person. 
  • Congratulations to Light Horse Tavern on celebrating 15 great years in Jersey City over the weekend. 
  • Komegashi Too is having a wine dinner this upcoming Wednesday, 5/23. There will be five different wines accompanying four courses. The dinner starts at 7:30pm and tickets are $75/person. 
  • Lutze Biergarten opened for the season this past Sunday, 5/20. They'll be open beginning at 4pm Monday through Thursday and beginning at 12pm Friday through Sunday. 
  • This Tuesday, 5/22, join Jersey Wine & Spirits for a Local Beer & Cheese Pairing class with Van Hook Cheese. Tickets are $40 each. 
  • Congratulations to Pampita Meat Shop on celebrating one year in business. They've also got updated hours for the summer. 
  • Join The Hamilton Park Conservancy for a Night Under the Stars on Saturday, 6/2. It will be on the rooftop of Park Francis, overlooking Hamilton Park, with music, cocktails, hors d'ouevres, and more. Tickets are $85 and all funds raised go towards the conservancy foundation. 
  • Koro Koro is officially back open in Jersey City at 538 Jersey Ave. After being closed for several months for structural renovations, they were able to move back into the space and opened for business last weekend.
