Pasta Dal Cuore In Viaggio sulla Via Emilia Wine Dinner

Pasta Dal Cuore is kicking off summer with a new wine dinner, In Viaggio sulla Via Emilia. 

Hosted in partnership with CoolVines, the dinner is designed to be a culinary journey on the Via Emilia, an ancient Roman road that traverses several reigning culinary destinations. The menu will feature five courses inspired by regional recipes from Piacenza, Parma, Modena, and Bologna along with specially paired wines.

With several courses featuring the specialty fresh-made pasta that Pasta Dal Cuore is known for along with dishes created specifically for this menu, this is sure to be a delicious and unique event. As each dish is delivered along with its paired wine, you'll hear a little about the region it comes from, the traditions of the area, and gain some insight into the wine and why it was paired with the dish.

Having been to two of these dinners in the past, these are some of the best pairing events around. All the dishes are created with so much attention to detail and flavor, they really become a showcase for the variety and traditions of regional Italian dining.

Artichoke Ravioli in Fresh Herb Sauce, one of my favorite dishes from recent event, Springtime on the Italian Riviera. I still  frequently think about how good this dish was.
