JC Eats Personal Must-Haves
It's important to note that there's always so, so much great food at Project: Eats and no matter what, there's something for everyone. I have some classic favorites I go back to or menus that catch my eye, but every year, I always pick a couple of must-haves ahead of time because they're either new vendors, not commonly around, or they do something special for the festival and I make those my priority.
The Archer - The Archer doesn't always participate in street fairs, but when they do, they knock it out of the park with unique, well-composed dishes and great flavors.
Meta - Meta was at Project: Market before the holidays and was serving up some of the best dishes around. Look for their bao buns, noodle dishes, and more.
Milk Sugar Love - I enjoy Milk Sugar Love regularly, but every year there's a Project: Eats special that is always fun, creative, and delicious.
Suwanna Food - Suwanna Food runs occasional pop-ups in the area and crafts specialty, high-quality Thai-inspired dishes. If you don't catch them now, it might be a while.
Drinks will be provided by the Slow & Low Whiskey Wagon, including this year's Slow Poison, a lemonade cocktail made with Slow & Low's rye whiskey, raw honey, navel oranges, rock candy, and agnostura bitters. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages available including Lizzmonade, Big Straw and others.
Remember to bring water, sunscreen, some cash (almost all the vendors accepts cards, but just in case and for tips) and friends to split all the amazing food with!
Have a great Project:Eats and follow me on IG at @jc_eats the days of the festival to see more!
