The shop, 942 Summit, is a shared space between Choc O Pain and Bloomsbury Square, a natural skin care company. This is Choc O Pain's third location and their second in Jersey City. It was originally scheduled to open in early February but got held up during the inspection process. Right now, they're serving the bakery's signature breads and pastries, but they'll soon be including a light lunch service.
The store can seat about 20 people and they anticipate being open from 7am - 7pm.
They also plan to open a fourth location in Jersey City Heights later this year that will act as their main production facility and commissary space with a small cafe attached so keep checking back for updates on their progress.
