New Years Eve in Jersey City


New Year's is right around the corner and Jersey City has lots of ways to celebrate! Whether you're looking for a huge party, a quiet dinner, or something in between, here is what's happening:


New Years Jersey City at Harborside
Celebrate New Years while enjoying sweeping views of the NYC skyline with food, drinks, and music at the Harborside Atrium. With a premium open bar from 9pm-2am, food from Leah Cohen at Piggyback, a live broadcast of the ball dropping, a champagne toast, a DJ, and more, this will be the biggest New Years Eve Party (as well as biggest party of the year) in Jersey City.

There will be VIP service available which includes bottle service and mixers, reserved tables, and a priority admission line. Email reservations@nyejc.com for pricing.

General admission is $125, but use code JCEATS and save $50 off your ticket price and make sure to check my instagram for your chance to win two free tickets!

Iron Monkey 
Iron Monkey, 99 Greene St., will be celebrating with a special menu, a champagne toast and more.
VIP tickets are $75 each and include a reserved table, an open bar from 8pm-1am, the full four course menu, and party favors.

General Admission will also be accepted, first come/first served with no cover, pay-as-you-go bar, and an a la carte menu.

Dinner with Satis Bistro
Eat well to celebrate bringing in the New Year! Satis Bistro, 212 Washington Street, is offering a special five course menu for $95/person. Vegetarian options are available.

They'll have two seatings available, one from 6-6:30pm and the other from 9-9:30pm with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, party favors, and an on-screen ball drop. Reservations are required.

Dullboy Bar
Dullboy is offering a special evening in the Gold Room with a three course dinner and an open bar from 9am-midnight for $95 person. Reservations are required and seating is limited.

The Hutton
Spend your evening at The Hutton, 225 Hutton Street, with two different ways to celebrate. 

They will be offering a three course prix fixe menu between 5-8pm for $55/person and they'll also have a NYE party beginning at 9:30pm with an open bar, two hours of passed hors d'ouevres, a champagne toast at midnight, and a DJ and dancing for $65/person. 

Hudson Hall
Hudson Hall, 364 Marin Blvd, is going all out for New Years with a kids party from 4-7pm with face-painting, a balloon artist, and kid-friendly live music. It's $5/child

For the adults, there's a $20 cover after 9pm with a champagne toast at midnight, their late night menu until 11pm, music with DJ Arsen, a photo booth, and a raffle at 1am.

They'll also be serving a New Years Day Brunch to help ease the pain from the night before.

Pet Shop
Pet Shop, 193 Newark Ave, will be bringing in the New Year with a full line-up of live music after the ball drops. The Pet Shop staff and friends will be playing a set as Van Halen, Désir Decir will play a Clash cover set, and more. There will be no cover for the shows. 

South House
South House, 149 Newark Ave, will be hosting a party with drink specials and a set from DJ Logic.
