Weekend Events - West Side Craft Fair, HDSID Artists & Makers Market

Jersey City is expecting its first snowfall this weekend, but don't let that stop you from enjoying your weekend! Head the to multiple holiday markets and festivities going on throughout town and enjoy the season.

Friday, 12/8
Graze and Braise has launched a new winter menu (including two vegan dishes) and orders for next week are due in by 10pm tonight.

Saturday, 12/9
Head to Lincoln Park to enjoy the JC West Side Holiday Craft Fair from 12-6pm. One of my personal favorite holiday events, the vendors are all unique small businesses offering everything from handmade animal sculptures to jewelry to dog treats. This is also where you can find one of my favorite food trucks No Forks Given and where you can pick up some of the now notorious work by Amy Wilson whose artistic interpretations of recent key moments in NJ politics has garnered attention state-wide and beyond.

This Saturday also marks the launch of the HDSID Holiday Market Winter Wonderland. Located at Grove Path Plaza and taking place all within a heated tent, there will be lots of artisan goods, hand-crafted items, and more so you can cross everyone off your list. Midnight Market has also curated a special selection of food vendors so you can enjoy some seasonal specialties while you shop -including holiday cocktails by Left Bank Burger Bar.

Saturday night is the Downtown Coalition of Neighborhood Associations Annual Holiday Party! Located at the Barrow Mansion, the party is sponsored by all the downtown neighborhood associations and is a great way to get out and meet your neighbors as well as your neighborhood representatives. There will be food, drinks, music and free tours of the mansion itself. They'll also collecting canned goods for St. Matthew's Food Pantry.

Sunday, 12/10
If you missed your chance to visit the HDSID Holiday Market, it's back again today from 12pm-6:30pm so make sure to stop by, do some shopping, and support your local vendors all while enjoying tasty treats like kati rolls, waffles, gluten-free macarons from Baking Mama and more.
