Hooked JC opened last summer to immediate rave reviews and has become a popular neighborhood spot. Their focus on fresh fish served as a platter, on a salad, or as a poboy, in three different cooking styles - blackened, fried, or grilled - in a casual and fun setting brought something new and needed to Jersey City. With this new addition, they continue to expand on their already solid concept.
Chef Tory Aunspach, who is responsible for the fresh and flavorful menu at Hooked, has spent much of his career as a private chef, cooking throughout the world. To help showcase those experiences and inspirations as well as bring something different to the community, the restaurant will be hosting these chef-driven multi-course meals where they promise you won't go hungry.
The dinners are $75/person plus tax and gratuity and the first one is scheduled for Tuesday, 2/27. BYOB is welcome and seating is limited so stop by the restaurant or call to reserve your seats.
There is no word yet on the menu, but considering the quality of their regular menu, it seems likely this will be very good.
