Your Guide to Valentine's Day

No matter how you want to celebrate Valentine's Day this year, Jersey City has you covered. Here's your guide to some of the best Valentine's Day Events and Dinners in town:

Galentine's Day
Porta is hosting their Second Annual Galentine's Brunch this Saturday beginning at noon. They'll have special red brunch items like red velvet waffles, specialty cocktails, movies, a DJ, games like MASH, a braid bar by The Hair Room, and more.

LITM is celebrating Galentine's Day on Tuesday, 2/13 with a celebration featuring female musicians, drink specials including $5 martinis, and a 50/50 raffle benefiting Planned Parenthood.


Dinner Reservations

The Kitchen Step is offering a $75 three course meal featuring dishes like oysters, lobster risotto, and red velvet cake with an optional beverage pairing for $35 per person.

The Oak on Pine will be accepting special Valentine's Day Reservations on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with seatings at 5:30, 7:30, and 9:30. They'll have their regular menu available along with some saucy specials.

Atlas Public House has a three course menu for $60/person with an option wine pairing for another $25 per person. If you make a reservation, a credit card to hold your space is required.

Mathews has a three course prix fixe with three different seating times available - 5pm, 7pm, and 9pm. An RSVP is required and they will confirm your booking.

Talde has a $40 three course menu featuring oysters, pork belly, and osso bucco amongst others and drink specials. Vegetarian options are available for all courses.

Satis Bistro has a special Valentine's four course menu, full of rich delicious dishes like smoked oyster and parsnip bisque and melted leek risotto for $95/person. Vegetarian options are available for every course.


Just a Casual, Fun Good Time
Join PS Wine Bar for their You're the One That I Want night where there will be flights of wine, flights of beer, cheese, vegan cheese, friends, music, and fun.

Ed and Mary's is making the evening special with live music from local musician Ciro from 7:30pm-11:30 pm.

Frankie doesn't have a specific Valentine's themed menu, but they will be offering 2 for 1 wine night all evening as well as a $55 prix fixe menu for two.

The Hutton will be offering several dinner specials along with their regular menu and they're accepting reservations by phone or through Open Table.

Hooked is the place to go for seafood lovers on Valentine's Day with their fresh catches of the day and since it's BYOB, you can either share a bottle of something special with someone special or several bottles of whatever you want with some friends.

The Belgian Plate by Waffle It & Co. has put together a Valentine's special - six mini-Liege waffles with nutella and fresh strawberries for $20. Orders can be picked up at Harborside this week or delivered via FastBoy.

Cool Vines has put together some specialty wine and chocolate pairings that make perfect gifts or a great surprise treat to finish off the meal like a bottle of Louis D'or Brut champagne paired with Vintage Plantations limited edition champagne truffles. They've also got red wine truffles, great specialty chocolate bars, a wide range of wine and champagne and more ready to pick up for whatever you're making at home.

Cocoa Bakery has a full menu of Valentine's Day treats available for order including cakes for two, handmade chocolates, cake truffles, and personalized and decorated cookies.

Pasta Dal Cuore has fresh, handmade pasta available with everything from squid ink linguine to gnocchi to their incedibly rich shortrib ravioli. They have fresh sauces ready to go with it as well.

Milk Sugar Love has a select menu of sweet treats available for Valentine's Day like a Red Velvet Dream Ice Cream Cake, personalized sugar cookies, and a set of 6 mini Mac Daddy sandwiches.
