- The 6th Borough Market was held today and appeared to be a huge success. There were a number of craft, homemade clothing, and art stands along with local food favorites ModCup, Choc-O-Pain, Jersey City Veggie Burgers, Milk Sugar Love, and Roman Nose as well as Blue J Syrups from Bloomfield, NJ and The Dark Side of the Moo food truck from Hoboken. Start looking forward to the next one on Oct. 13th!
- A new restaurant, The Torch House, has opened on Communipaw Avenue and Whiton St. with an interesting, upscale bar menu.

- Join Sustainable JC for one of their outdoor back patio parties through September and October. The first one is this Thursday, September 19th at 6pm. Expect food, drink, conversation about art and artistic processes. The parties are intended to highlight their Rain Garden, Art Campaign and the artists involved in these initiatives and are a great way to support the local artistic community.
