Weekend Events

Get ready for the weekend! Lots to do, lots to eat, and don't forget to enjoy Father's Day!

This Saturday is the Hamilton Bark Festival, a fundraiser for local non-profit animal shelter Liberty Humane Society. There will be fun for humans and dogs alike, food trucks, beer, and live music.

At 3pm, join Thirsty Quaker for their Summer Bottle Share in their backyard where beer fans will be bringing interesting and favorite bottles to share so you get to do a lot of different tasting and learning.

Another great festival on Saturday is the JC Families' Annual Cultural Diversity Festival this Saturday with a day full of live performances representing and celebrating different cultures, family-friendly activities and favorite local vendors like Taproot Organics, Milk Sugar Love, El Chilango Taqueria and others.

Sunday is Father's Day and restaurants around town have special menus to help make you celebrate the day:
  • Taphaus has a $45/person prix-fixe menu to go along with their wide beer selection and amazing views.
  • Zeppelin Hall has plenty of meat and beer ready for the occasion
  • Alaris Health will be having a Father's Day Social with a DJ and appetizers
This Sunday is also the start of this year's Famers' Market at Lincoln Park! Rain or shine, they'll be ther from 9am-2pm - expect farm stands, coffee, soap, food trucks, and more!
