Weekend Events




Bucket and Bay Gelato has been running their soft open all week and to kick off the start of their Grand Opening, they'll be having an opening party tonight, Friday 6/5, from 5pm-7pm with free cone giveaways!

It's also JC Friday celebrating art and live music throughout the city, and many of the events are taking places at local restaurants and bars. Check the list to find out where you can go for good food, drinks, and local art of all kinds. 

In a combination of JC Fridays and the usual Food Truck Friday in the Heights, this Friday evening, the Lumberyard will be hosting live music and food trucks like Chopping Block to keep you fed and entertained all night.

The Brunswick Center launches on Saturday and you can join them from 12pm-3pm for free tours, sample classes, raffles, and food provided by BoneIn, Busy Bee Organics, Whealth and Co, and Third & Vine.

This Saturday is Liberty Humane's Yappy Hour with help from The Thirsty Quaker. From 3pm-7pm, off-leash dogs will be allowed at a one day outdoor beer garden being held to help support and provide fundng for the Liberty Humane Society.

White Star Bar will be celebrating their 10 Year Anniversary at the Brunswick St. location this Saturday with Happy Hour champagne all day (and night) long, a DJ, Gift Certificate giveaways, and more. Congratulations White Star!

On Sunday, head to the Riverview Farmer's Market for a Dixieland Brunch. Riverview Jazz will be ending its week-long Jazz Festival with some live performances at the market from noon to 3:30pm and many of the vendors will be offering special brunch items for sale.
