The Kitchen Step Sets Opening Date

As a follow-up to my earlier post, The Kitchen Step, the newest restaurant from Ryan DePersio, has announced an official opening date.

The restaurant which occupies the same space formerly held by Thirty Acres will open to the public this Thursday 2/18.

While there hasn't been a lot of information released, we know that they're aiming for a Modern American menu. The dishes we've seen so far have included ricotta gnocchi, a seasonal vegetable soup, and a beet dish.

They also confirmed that Tribeca Grain, based out of Jersey City Heights, did the interior woodwork. Tribeca Grain has been responsible for a number of the interiors at bars and restaurants around Jersey City including White Star at Warren, The Hamilton Inn, and DePersio's other Jersey City restaurant, Battello.

    1. It's in the same space Thirty Acres was in. No relation to The Kitchen at Grove Station, they just have similar names.
