Celebrate Earth Day in Jersey City

This Saturday, join Jersey City in celebrating Earth Day with different festivals around town.

First up is the Great Jersey City Cleanup where residents all around town will join city crews in helping clean-up their neighborhoods. There are currently close to 1,000 volunteers and if you're still interested in joining, email kcjb@jcnj.com.

To celebrate, the Annual Jersey City Earth Day Festival will run from 11am-6pm in front of City Hall. They'll be handing out free plants and herbs along with planting demonstrations and workshops and local vendors like Milk Sugar Love, WHOS Gluten-Free, Modcup, Pizza Vita, Stella's Empanadas, Bread and Spoon, and Jersey City Veggie Burger will all be there with food and drinks to keep you enjoying the festivities.

Liberty State Park is also celebrating with another Earth Day Celebration complete with over 100 exhibits, games, face-painting, planting in the park, food and drinks, and a 40 foot aquarium.
