The announcement was made via Instagram. The former owners have moved out of Jersey City and Dwight and Tina, the new owners, have taken over and are keeping the name but changing up the menu.
While they're still in the process of refining and finalizing the concept and menu, they're planning on serving an authentic Jamaican menu with a little traditional Italian-American mixed in, using mostly organic ingredients. The owners, who used to run an at-home catering business, also have their own brand of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee called DessertBreakfast which they'll be serving and selling bags of on the truck to take home.
They will be vending primarily in Jersey City and once a week at Pier 13 in Hoboken and hope to be out on the streets by the end of April.
