Community News: Lobster Bake, Full Moon Party at Luna, and more

  • Liberty House is throwing their 2nd Annual Lobster Bake this Wednesday, 8/29. It begins at 7pm and is $65/person. Reservations are required. 
  • Luna is hosting their monthly full moon party this Monday with an all-night Happy Hour and dining by candlelight. 
  • Beginning this Thursday, 8/30, Zeppelin Hall is introducing a special tapas menu to be served along with their regular menu. 
  • Congratulations to pop-up vendor META Asian Kitchen, known for their appearances at Project Eats, who will be joining Broadway Bites by Urban Space this fall. They'll be located right outside of the 33rd Street PATH station from 11am-9pm every day from 9/24 - 11/2.
  • Pet Shop Wine Bar will offering a special Back to School menu all September long with a list full of $9 natural wines. 


Outside Jersey City

  • Via hMAG, Jimmy John's in Hoboken closed suddenly this week, papering over the windows and putting up a sign in the door announcing the closure. Their Jersey City location at 110 1st street is still open. 
  • Amanda's Restaurant has decided to keep the feel of Restaurant Week going with a new special prix fixe menu. They'll be offering three courses for $39. Vegan options are available.
