Weekend Round-Up: JC Food Truck Fest, la côte debuts brunch, Annual Peach Pie Contest & More

Happy Weekend Jersey City! Here's what's happening around town this weekend:

Friday

Restaurant Week, throughout Hudson County
Tonight is the last night to enjoy Restaurant Week in Hudson County. Get more info on participating restaurants here, and enjoy something delicious like this double cut pork chop from The Barge Inn, part of their Restaurant Week menu.

Jersey City Food Truck Festival, 200 Greene Street
After being rained out last Friday, The Jersey City Food Truck Festival is back again this Friday. It will run from 5pm-11pm at the Urby parking lot. It's kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and there will be a beer and wine garden along with rides, live music, and games. Expect to see vendors like Glazed & Confused, Mozzarepas, Philly Fry, Kimchi Taco, Pizza Vita, Eddie Oyster, Left Bank Burger Bar, and more. The entry fee is $5/person with kids 12 and under entering for free. 

Frankie Disco Party, 264 Grove Street
Join Frankie for their Delicious Disco dance party this Friday night, beginning at 10:30pm 

Saturday
 la côte199 Warren Street
 la côte begins brunch service this weekend for the first time. They'll be open from 11am-4pm and menu details will be forthcoming on their IG. 

Bolivian Parade & Festival, City Hall
Saturday is the annual Bolivian Parade and Festival! Marked by the colorful and elaborate costumes, as well as lots of dancing, the parade begins at 12pm and will run until 1pm, finishing at City Hall where the festival goes on until 7pm. There will be lots of great Bolivian food and drinks, performances, and more. 

Marketplace JC, 135 Magnolia Ave
Marketplace JC is back with their special Pet Day. Along with the craft and vintage vendors the market is known for, this Saturday will also include a visit from Liberty Humane Society with adoptable pets, live music, and food from vendors like Juice for Us, offering vegan fruit bowls and juices. The market begins at 12pm and runs until 5pm. 

Sunday

Riverview Market Annual Peach Pie Contest, Riverview Park
The Riverview Farmer's Market is back with their Annual Peach Pie Contest and a full day of peach-themed activities and specials from their normal market vendors. There will be live music, games, and more. Registration is still open to enter the contest and all pies will be available for tasting after the judging is over.
