La Festa Italiana Begins Tonight!

Get ready for five straight days of enjoying rice balls, wine and peaches and live music! La Festa Italiana on 6th and Brunswick begins tonight!

Organized and held by Holy Rosary Church, it's the 112th annual celebration of what has arguably become Jersey City's largest church festival. It will run from 5pm-11pm tonight through Saturday, and on Sunday will run from noon-9pm. The festival is very family-friendly, but there's plenty to drink for the 21+ crowd including a new craft beer tent provided by White Star Bar.

The food is a major draw at this festival, specifically the rice balls made by church volunteers, but there's also fresh zeppole and food from local favorites like Delenio's, Gia's Gelato, Mayon Grill, and much more.

It does get crowded, so going early can have it's perks, but it's also a great time to just go enjoy the crowd, listen to some music, and have fun.
