Weekend Events

Want to spend as much time outdoors as possible before summer's over? This weekend is for you.

On Friday, visit the Journal Square Green Market, open from 11:00am-8:00pm with regulars like Stony Hill, Taproot Organics, Stella's Empanadas, and their ever-expanding vendor list including Bang Me Bakery and El Chilango Taqueria.

This Saturday, help support No Kid Hungry with Bambino Chef who will be fundraising with a lemonade stand at 213 Newark Ave from 10am-1pm. Each lemonade is $1 and their are two corporate matches, so every dollar makes a big difference.

This Saturday is the Arlington Park Farmer's Market from 10:00 am-2:00pm and the August session of Pacific Flea (!), both in Bergen-Lafayette.
Besides all the always great music and antique and vintage vendors, Pacific Flea will have JC Wingery and Eema's Cuisine, a favorite at JC Project Eats serving up great food including vegetarian and vegan options.

The Bolivian Pride Parade will begin at 12pm, starting at Hamilton Park and ending at City Hall where the festivities will continue until late afternoon including music, dancing, and traditional Bolivian food.

On Saturday night, join Feed JC in Van Vorst Park for the second occasion of their Dinner in the Park series. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Join Cayena in celebrating their first year in business at the Farmer's Market at Lincoln Park and stock up on fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, and cheese while you're there. The Riverview Market will also be running on Sunday from 10am-3pm.

6th Borough Market will be open 11am-5pm with misting stations, covered tables, and eats like Incrediballs, vegan hot dogs from Yeah Dawg and Bang Me Bakery.

Happy Weekend, Jersey City!
