Jersey City Pride kicks off today, 8/20, with a flag-raising at the Brennan Courthouse, starting over a whole week full of great, celebratory events. Of particular note this weekend is Brightside Tavern's Sundays are a Drag Brunch from 1p-5pm. Advance ticketing required.

Battello has their acoustic Happy Hour tonight, Thursday 8/20, starting at 5pm with Matty D. performing and endless drink specials.
Barcade is hosting Jersey Breweries Night, beginning at noon.

Van Vorst Park is holding their Second Annual Disco Night with prizes (including Orale Mk), dancing, music and food.
This Sunday is another 6th Borough Market and this week is Yelp Day, meaning Yelp will be there hosting activities, face-painting, and even more vendors. This week, 6th Borough is also bringing back BooQoo Beignets, a favorite from JC Project Eats, for your dining pleasure along with other local vendors.
