Baozi Brew To Open

(photo from Baozi)

New bar and dim sum spot Baozi Brew is planning to launch their soft open this week beginning Wednesday, 7/13.

Per Have A Night JC, Baozi Brew is part of Liberty House Restaurant, 76 Audrey Zapp Drive in Liberty State Park and is the newest addition to the Landmark Hospitality Portfolio. The idea behind the space is to emphasize the outdoor space and views and fuse together the feel of a traditional European beer garden and a dim sum house.

Right now, it appears selections are a little limited with four beers on the menu (Asahi, Sapparo, Tsingtao, & Corona) for $8 each and four cocktails, $12-$15. The dim sum menu includes spring rolls, dumplings, satay, and sides (with three vegetarian dishes on the menu) ranging in price from $6-$16 with dishes of varying size. At first glance, the menu seems pricey - two duck confit spring rolls are $14 and a serving of Napa cabbage slaw is $8 - but admittedly, I don't know portion sizes and considering it's part of Liberty House, it's not unexpected.

Along with Liberty House, they'll be hosting movie nights every Thursday and Sunday night through July and August on the lawn.

They plan to be open Wednesday & Thursday from 5pm-10pm, Saturday & Sunday from 5pm-11pm, and Sunday from 5pm-9pm.
