Thanksgiving is just around the corner and if you need information on where to go, where to shop, or where to volunteer, check this post out.

Pre-Thanksgiving
Lucky 7's is having a Thanksgiving Eve party beginning at 8pm with beer specials, $5 Wild Turkey and Monte Alban Mezcal shots, and a DJ with lots of rock & roll and punk rock joining at 10pm.

O'Leary's is celebrating Thanksgiving Eve with $2 Brooklyn Seasonal Drafts and Fireball shots.

Departed Soles will have the Tasting Room open from 4-9pm and will be launching this year's Naughty List by Nature to put you in the holiday spirit. The Tasting Room will most likely be the only place it's offered, so if you want to try it, this is your chance.

Join Porta as they celebrate their two year anniversary and enjoy the last night they'll have the rooftop open for the season with drink specials and DJ sets.

Cellar 335 will have a DJ kicking off their festivities beginning at 9pm and Happy Hour from 10 pm on.

Post-Thanksgiving
Squeeze'D is offering a post-Thanksgiving detox special. Order before Thanksgiving and get $10 off any of their detoxes, delivered or picked-up, to be redeemed anytime in 2016.

Amelia's Bistro is offering brunch on Friday from 11am-3pm.

On Sunday, Departed Soles is hosting a charity comedy show to help raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Milk Sugar Love is having their annual pint sale on Friday. Classic flavors like Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Stumptown Coffee, Earl Grey Fudge, Salted Caramel and several others will all be on sale, 2 for $15.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving has become known as Small Business Saturday to help promote local spending and Jersey City has a ton of options for gift-giving, personal shopping, and more. Special Hours
It's safe to say most places will be closed on Thanksgiving, but a few places are closed beyond that in order to take a break and others are offering special holiday hours.

Sam a.m. will be closed this Tuesday through Friday Nov. 25th and will reopen on Saturday with these usual hours.

Latham House will be closed this week through Thursday, reopening on Friday for their normal hours.

Pasta Dal Cuore will be closed Thursday and Friday, reopening Saturday.

Cocoa Bakery and Choc-O-Pain will both be open with limited hours on Thursday for any last-minute dessert needs on a first come, first served basis.

Van Hook Cheese will be open from 10am-1pm on Thanksgiving.

9 Bar Cafe will be open on Thursday and Friday from 8:30am-2pm.
